The Parkinson's Superspiel is a curling event to raise funds for and awareness about Parkinson's. Did you know that there are over 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson's, and that number is expected to double by 2030? There is currently no cure for Parkinson's.
The Parkinson's Superspiel is a great time to have fun while funding support for people with Parkinson's! If you want to curl, you can register your 4-player team for $200. The entry fee includes 2 8-end games, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and prizes! You can also register your mixed doubles team for $40 for a 6-end evening game. The winning team of each of the mixed double games will win $40.
If you don't want to play, there is lots of off-ice activity as well. You can bid on items in the silent auction, purchase 50/50 and raffle tickets, cheer on your favourite team, and stay for the spaghetti supper!
Everyone is invited to the spaghetti supper which will take place after the prize presentation. The spaghetti supper costs $5 a plate for spaghetti, garlic bread, fresh vegetables, and for dessert: homemade pie!! After supper we will sell any pies that are leftover, so make sure you don't miss it!
